Why verification matters
A document or supplier statement is evidence only within its real context.

Verification focuses on the specific claim that matters to the buyer decision and records what the available evidence can—and cannot—support.

The scope is agreed before work begins and depends on relevance, access, timing, location, and the type of evidence available.

Keep observation separate from supplier claims.
Findings can be labeled as observed, verified within scope, supplier-reported, unverified, conflicting, or unavailable. This prevents a partial check from being presented as a broader guarantee.

Sephalis does not issue product certifications, legal opinions, financial assurance, or guarantees of supplier reliability. Where a decision requires accredited testing, formal audit, legal review, or specialist engineering, that need is identified separately.
